Word of the Week - Client VS Customer

Posted by PTS on 06-02-2012 | 0 Comments

A client in the Real Estate industry is generally considered to be the person or party who engages or employs the agent to provide a service under an agreement and who pays the agent's fees. For example, a vendor or a landlord.

A customer in the Real Estate industry is generally considered to be the person or party who engages with the agency but the agency holds no agreement with them and they do not pay the agency any fees. For example, a buyer or tenant.
