- Understanding the real estate industry
- Applying the legal & ethical requirements of property management & sales
- Meeting client and customer expectations
- Managing and maintaining the agency database
- Maintaining daily financial records
- Assisting others in listing property for sale or lease
- Assisting others in marketing property for sale or lease
Units of Competency
Participants undertaking the Certificate III in Property Services (Agency) are required to complete 14 units of competency. Five core units must be completed by all candidates:
- Work in the real estate industry (CPPDSM4080A)
- Maintain workplace safety in the property industry (CPPDSM3009A)
- Meet customer needs and expectations in the property industry (CPPDSM3010)
- Use and maintain property and client information databases (CPPDSM3015A)
- Identify risks to agency operations (CPPDSM3018A)
A further nine elective units are drawn from Property Sales, Property Management and Agency Administration to create a full qualification.
